Can I make a difference?

Can I make a difference?

I bet this is a question we all ask ourselves in various aspects of our lives whether it is within a family, work environment, community, raising money, etc.

What does it actually mean?
My thoughts on the subject include a serious insight into oneself to evaluate yourself first and then look outside after.

Why do I say this?
I had an opportunity to work with an NGO recently and made me look into this question very deeply. I am an eye specialist with specialist skills which was used to train doctors working within the NGO to take care of patients in the region.
I realised that I could and continue to make a difference with my skill set.

Can you make a difference?
Yes you could. All you need to ask yourself is whether you have some skills which could be transferred to the people you want to make a difference to.

If every person decided to ‘look into themselves’ and contribute towards making a difference to people around them and in the process themselves I suppose it would be a better place to live in.
If we can share a little bit of ‘time’ , ‘thoughts ‘ and ‘money’ we can start of a revolution.
So guys and girls, wherever you are and if you happen to read this and want to make a difference start today.

Positive +

Positive +

Is it just a ‘plus’ mark? Or something more than that?
What is a ‘positive’ state of mind?
I had some intriguing conversations with 2 sets of different people and watched a video about ‘ the awesome’ author and realised that it is a feeling within us.
You feel it, embrace it, you start seeing it around you, smelling it in the air and it becomes you and then in every aspect of life you start seeing ‘some’ thing positive.

All of us go through ‘positive ‘ and ‘negative’ aspects and situations in our lives. When we decide to park the ‘negative’ and start focusing on the ‘positive’ maybe we would enrich our life more.

Listening to the author of ‘the awesome’ book made me realise that the ‘3A’s ‘ i.e attitude, awareness of our surroundings and interacting with in, being  yourself or authentic sends a  very positive image to people around you which is palpable and infectious.

So this led me to think whether negatives can be converted to being positive and I realised it can be done if the state of mind and mood is ‘positive’.

So friends  we question our negative or positive feelings because we feel life so let us embrace life, be true to ourselves, enjoy it as there are many ‘awesome’ things in everyday life which will go past us if we just concentrate on the negatives.
